i should walk home from boonkeng more often. just now after tuition at laguna park i realised that bus 31 stops at boonkeng before moving onto toa payoh yeah. so i decided to save a bit of money (like 10 cents i think =p) and walk abit more to go home.. haha didn't regret it =) it was a really enjoyable walk home even though i was alone.. the time was just nice. six plus almost seven in the evening. sky's not dark yet and the place was rather busy. haha crossed the canal and saw a bunch of malay teenagers blasting loud music on their handphones and laughing so happily.. then walked down the park connector and saw this little indian girl pointing at the playground and screaming to her mum (with a pacifier inside her mouth so it was abit hard to understand =p) "i want to gooooo!" then haha her mum was trying to explain to her that she just went (ok i think the mum was lying i've seen parents use that trick many times =p) haha then finally when i was going up the overhead bridge saw these two old uncles chatting then one was complaining that he was damn old already climb stairs very tiring then the other started laughing and said he was still young. haha weee i was like smiling my entire way home. never realised how much i really love seeing and just being around people =) haha really love my neighbourhood.. yup gonna make it a point to walk home from there more often =)

anyway nothing much has happened recently. just that last week was my first week of break from MOE but sadly it wasn't much of a break as it became my "singsoc week" =p every single day for like 4 days consecutively i never failed to receive a phone call from p to tell me to do smth lah. but i shouldn't complain =p haha i rmb thurs was like my first day of break and i was so happy lahh that i didn't have to do any singsoc stuff.. heh could really fully enjoy myself at home then tuition then parkway and the beach =) was nice.. wish i were back in london though. where i could stay out as late as i could without having to worry about making my mum worry or having to spend money to take a cab home or smth =p

met up with geog group on saturday as well! i tell you uh. all my saturdays are burnt liao lah. it's damn sad lorh i haven't been to my ahma's house for like almost a month already.. then some more next sat there's that pre-dept talk at british council and the sentosa thing at night. grrr. i feel really bad lorh. i come back like only once after nine months then in the end i see my extended family only like 4-5 times or smth then i fly off again.. should try and find more time for them but it's quite hard lah coz like a lot of events will be on saturdays oh well. lucky the night bike hike is only at night so i can still go to my ahma's house for dinner.. i wanna go and donate blood though! next sat too yup. but wonder if it's a good idea to go overnight cycling after i lost 500ml of blood =p haha i was thinking right if i go to the CC then they come and tell me that i am too light to donate blood i really dunno whether i will be happy or sad =p oh yah i digressed. haha went out with the rg pple two sat's ago.. it was quite fun heh. looked thru my photos ate junk (when i was having a cough oops) played with little pigs and stupid melho posted so many unglam shots of me on her blog =p i should have brought my own camera lah. but it was really quite nice to see them all again.. really hope the thing about them coming to visit me in dec next year will come true! =D

what else what else! oh tuition. hahah it's amazing you know. how tutees find me instead of i find tutees =p come to think of it right. since last year NONE of my tutees were looked for by me.. haha all of them were like friends suddenly ask me "eh you wanna tutor this person a not" then they give the kid my number and tada we arrange smth and i get to earn money =D but i really miss my older tutees =( especially jinghui yah she was super funny and i really enjoyed tutoring her.. and the two j2 boys also.. not exactly very smart but at least they are quite eager to learn =p but i must say smth hahah there's really smth about the east that somehow "attracts" me to it =p three of my tuition kids are like tampines simei and marine parade lah.

(seee lah i was blogging halfway then i got distracted by vp this time. then forgot what i wanted to say liao.. haiii next two days are singsoc days again =p but nvm! at least i've still got the national day to look forward to =) haha it's like 2.27am liao lah. shows how long i've been working on this entry and how long i also got distracted for =p oh well nothing much to say already just that i'm hoping really really hard that ukbound will go fine.. 30th august at the butter factory! everyone must come down k?)
