good mood!

this week's not a good week. it's already thursday and i've only attended a total of 2 hours of lectures =p rarr. seems like at this point of time how well the week has gone for me is determined largely by how many lectures i go for and whether my experiment has gone well. oh well chemistry has taken over my life =p

haha but on a brighter side last week was a good week =D i didn't pon many lectures and my experiment went quite well (see astee's theory is right =p). haha i was damn high last monday coz i got product =D and i did many many things last week too i think. went out to watch an arsenal match and had kengseng's birthday surprise as well. haha that was quite funny. even though it didn't work out 100% well (coz weiming decided to go toilet at the wrong time =p) i'm sure he enjoyed it. got evidence on facebook! from ks to clarence "thank you! ya a surprise from my sweet housemates." he thinks we're sweet awww =D =D

mhmm i realised smth haha. that although i've been skipping tons of chemistry lectures i have yet to miss a single german lesson. i guess it's coz i subconsciously know that it's really very hard to catch up once u miss a language lesson. but somehow i cannot tell myself the same thing for chemistry =p for chem the mentality is more like "ok if i miss one lecture then i'd just pon the rest of the lectures" =p smth like what i did for physics back in JC heh. german is really getting quite tough. i've been doing decently for tests so far but i think monday's one was a killer. i was so unprepared & totally died haha. it was sentence translation yah and i didn't mug enough vocab to know what's passengers, lunch and flour =p

mm when it comes to german i think it's quite an achievement for me heh. when i first told my coursemates i'm doing german i remember harpreet's response very well. "you're doing it for non-credit?? how do you find the motivation! i'm like not even in the mood to study chemistry and that's like my degree." haha i guess having german in the middle of my labs taught me how to manage & plan time well. and considering that i have 3 hours less time than the rest of the chemists and yet i'm still able to complete experiments and get results i think that's smth i should be proud of =p haha it's like ks' logic about december babies. "if you think about it, when the december baby is just born, all the january babies already can walk and talk." but in the end both babies still go thru the same education system so if the dec baby can do as well as the jan one then the dec baby is zai isn't it? hence the conclusion that dec babies are smarter which i totally agree with! (i am not a dec baby yah so i'm not being ego =p) haha maybe it's coz of my little sister. 4 days after she turned 6 she started primary one and yet she still did really well so i concluded that the theory makes sense heh.

haha i was quite amused by colin the other day. when i said 'i have no reason to go to bedok anymore next summer' he got a shock =p he thought smth happened haha but i was quite surprised that he's so easily affected by the people around him. then i realised it's somewhat the same for me too? when i found out that there are now 4 attached people in my house i was quite excited heh. went to chacha moon on the day i found out i think (it was the monday when i got product!) and yah i was really in a very very good mood. so that was a happy day for me =D

oh and it nv really occurred to me about van's fb status until i decided to just joke and ask him about it. haha clement doesn't think he's serious i think. and i also dunno whether he's bluffing me a not but from what it seems like to me he's being serious. it was a pleasant surprise but still quite shocking actually. i never knew he had a girlfriend and now suddenly i find out he's got a fiancee haha. i remember when i first realised he was 'engaged' i went outside and started asking the rest what engaged meant =p apparently it's actually nothing official. according to wiki which wm helped me to check, "An engagement is a promise to marry, and also refers to the time between proposal and marriage." haha after weiming read it out i was like, "!!! that means he proposed already??" so i went back to ask van and well it seems like he did. through some ingenious method (not the cliche HDB one =p). shall bug him more about it next time =D

weee. realised that my past entries were all quite depressing so decided to blog about happier stuff. and i did get happier blogging about them =D haha clarice is cooking dinner now so i'd stop once she's done. oh shit! i just realised it's 7.09pm. oh man it's thursday today ie shell geopursuit. haha i think by now the leaderboard will be full already =p the clues are somehow getting easier i think. but aiyah we just play for fun anyway. there's probably like 0.0001% chance that we'll win that 10000 pounds grand prize =p hoho! the first clue is "Eat in German..." seems like german lessons are useful after all =p

okok so sorry for such an abrupt ending but i think i'd go off to try solve the puzzle. take care everyone! and term's ending already can't believe it's so fast. turkey for 1 week and then it'll be mug mug mug for exams. to those back in singapore enjoy your holidays! =)
