end of imperial year one

and so last friday marked the official end of the school year for us chemists.. no more lectures no more tutorials and no more labs yup. haha went out to nando's on friday night to "celebrate" and i ended up really really really full. & it's coz i ate the 2 largest pieces of chicken out of the 8 available =p yes i know i chose them myself but how i know it was gonna be so filling =p the chilli was damn hot also haha could feel my stomach and mouth burning like even at night before i slept =p went to waitrose after dinner and got ourselves 4 tubs of icecream yup. which means uh in order to finish them before we return to singapore we need to eat at least one tub every five days.. so must remember k! dun let the icecream go to waste =p

so anyway. though school ended last friday sadly there's still two more lab reports to do and hand in. and they happen to be due tomorrow 5pm but never mind astee is quite sure that she should be able to finish it on time hence she's blogging now =p haha i've completed one and there's still about 20% left of the other so it shouldn't be a problem.. hmm about my synthesis lab experience. haha though i was complaining non-stop during that five weeks (even up till the second last day when i absolutely refused to do my experiment coz i didn't wanna squeeze with other people in the fumehood hence i ended up like wasting one whole hour whining and talking crap to haojun =p) haha i think i'd kinda miss the place. ok i'd be seeing it again next year lah. for like two whole terms and longer hours some more.. but anyway on friday when i was doing stocktaking making sure i have all the glassware (haha i went around koping from all over =p) i was feeling abit sad to leave that place haha. then su was also going around taking photos too.. ohh one thing though. this may not be very nice but i really hope that the number of pple in year two chem will be less than year one chem (ie pple drop out =p) so that i can have more space in my fumehood =p seriously lah. six in one is just crazy.

alright enough about lab. haha so anyway tomorrow after i hand in my report then it's finally time to concentrate on mugging. it's like back to winter break last year again.. haha which i kinda enjoyed somehow. everyday just wake up late eat lunch then mug until dinner time then after that continue mugging before going to bed.. maybe coz it's like brainless work =p ok fine mugging's not brainless but it's not like lab reports where u have to think. all u hafta do is just absorb.. and even though i was slacking soooo much during easter break i think i'm actually waay ahead of time for mugging =D (let's ignore physics for now k? =p) i'm 2/3 done for organic and inorganic and more than 1/3 done for physical yup. i think u gimme another 3-4 more days of proper mugging i can finish the syllabus already.. yay =D haha and i was so worried that i'll have not enough time =p seee! things always go well for astee one..

11th june (mon) - physical chem
12th june (tues) - inorganic chem
14th june (thurs) - organic chem
15th june (fri) - maths & physics

yupp four papers in one week haha. seriously like A levels like that lah. by the time i sit for my first paper edwin will already be back in singapore and ben will be on the way to heathrow already.. haiii =p haha i start and end with my worst two papers some more.. how sad =p but never mind! it will pass very very fast one. at least it's not draggy. chiong hard for one week then get it over and done with. haha after friday i'm gonna get high lah. confirm one.. coz exams over and some more i will be going back home in like THREE DAYS! gosh can't wait lah. haha i really can't believe it. time flies very very fast.. 9 months already leh. gosh i don't even remember being here so long =p well at least it was a meaningful first year. loads of unhappy memories but tons of happy ones as well =) things will definitely change next year coz i wun be seeing some of us so often anymore (i'll miss you all!) but on the other hand i'd be seeing others more often than now (sadly -grin-) =p haha and of course year two will be more xiong and astee can't slack too much anymore.. ahh but nvm before that comes i shall go back to finishing my lab report and then mugging for exams. there's still that 3 more months back in singapore to look forward to =) one of these days when i'm bored of mugging i'll come up with a list of things i must do when i'm back home.. haha anw to those having exams this week.. jiayou! =D think about it this way.. when you guys end and can go celebrate my exams would have just started =p mm alright take care everyone =) good luck!

(oh yahh before i forget zhixian and clarence popped by this week also.. zhixian came over to cook for us heh he biked here with a wok on his back =p your steamed pork ribs were really really fat but they were good =D haha thanks ade too for the tiramisu! and yah it was nice to see clarence again too.. he damn lucky lah exams finish so long ago haii going around touring so much also =p and everyone really says i've grown fatter hmph. but at least everytime after they say that they'd add that i look better now than before.. wonder if it's just to console me =p haha shall wait till i get home and see what the rest say as well =p)
