hello! i've been wanting to write this blog entry for quite some time actually so think i shall get down to doing it now since i really no mood to start work yet =p haha this entry's dedicated to the bunch of people i hang around with over here in imperial uhhuh. and i tell you first no matter how much u all treat me like a guy i'm after all still a girl haha so if it gets too mushy for you dun blame me =p yup yup so i shall start! in no particular order of preference but just the usual order which i realise is also the order of decreasing age heh. (to everyone else before i even start i know that this is gonna be a super super super long entry so yah unless 你真的吃饱没事做 then dun bother to read =p and to khd i apologise if you find me too long-winded but i really got a lot of stuff to say i guess =p)

Kengseng. haha our 老大. i like really didn't know him at all before i came over to imperial lah. low profile until really so low =p the first time i actually met or heard of him was on the very first day of the PSC induction course thing.. i knew all the imperial people except him so i asked darius then he pointed kengseng out to me then i kinda got a shock. haha sorry uh kengseng but at that time my impression of you was really quite bad heh. i think most of us were wearing formal wear and stuff then u were in sweater and jeans or smth. first thought was "gosh someone so beng can actually get scholarship & go uk to study one uh" oops =p then after i found out you were from RJ then i got a bigger shock haha. but well all these has changed since then lah.

haha at first glance kengseng might look like the steady and sane one of the entire group. as in like the one who keeps things in control haha. but that's actually like so wrong lah. to quote darius "i'm damn lucky that my fellow math buddy is as lame and funny as me" =p haha i really couldn't tell lah that kengseng can actually be so full of crap. but he's really damn funny haha and he makes the most random comments sometimes. even when he's pissed (like for example at mechanics) it can actually turn out quite hilarious =p can really imagine you scolding your notes lah! (and i've actually really heard u getting damn pissed when i pass by your room before =p) but anyway other than that kengseng's a really nice guy haha. though at first sight he may seem rather cool but he's really a very warmhearted guy =D learnt many many new stuff about him during my time here.. i've really never seen anyone else who's such a cocalcoholic lah =p

hmm about my relationship with kengseng. haha we're both d-landers! so yah everytime after an outing darius would go back to garden then haojun will take the stairs while both of us will wait for the lift together.. haha i dun deny the fact that there is usually an awkward silence while waiting for the lift or inside the lift with him. i guess it's quite obvious that out of the three guys i'm not the closest to kengseng.. that's why i'd remember this one incident that kinda surprised me haha. remember when we were out playing with snow that night and haojun and kengseng were throwing snowballs at each other.. i didn't join in coz i didn't bring my gloves and it was freaking cold =p so anyway yah i was walking back liao and then suddenly i got whacked on the back by a snowball.. haha first thought was that it was stupid haojun then i turned around and seriously got quite a shock when i realised it was kengseng who attacked me =p haha i was surprised but happy at the same time lah i guess.. somehow will just never forget that incident. 真没想到连 kengseng 也会欺负我 =p uhhuh so that's one thing i'll never forget about kengseng haha. the other being his very very unique laugh. it's seriously damn contagious lah and can drive everyone else into stitches =p anyway to kengseng: really glad to have met you really! somehow feel a very very strange and unique sense of attachment to you tt's very different from the other two guys (like how i cannot explain why when i scoop rice during meals i'd always pick out your plate top it up with slightly more rice and make sure you get it =p)

next up haojun! note the small h -grin- haha my fellow imperial chemistry-teacher-to-be =D not surprisingly out of the three guys i spend the most of my time in imperial with you. haha as opposed to kengseng, i noticed you the very first day we all met. during that mini gathering thingy at MOEHQ.. haha probably coz at that point of time you were the only other imperial chemist around. and well maybe for other reasons as well but that's not the point =p haha didn't really talk to you much actually. just remember you smsing me some time after that to intro yourself and ask me stuff about the words of appreciation thing. you said i was dao but i really dun remember ignoring you at all leh. like i said maybe i was just shy =p haha not really sure what my first impression of you was actually. i only rmb during the whole induction course thing that u appeared to be quite mature and liked talking quite abit. but gosh once again i was quite wrong..

haha i know i'm a lot younger than you but seriously lah sometimes i just feel like you're my 小弟弟 =p if you never told me you were 21 i wouldn't have guessed lorh. you're seriously still very very childish.. and damn itchy hand lah. haha hope you learnt your lesson in klagenfurt after you irritated the airport counter lady =p but then again being childish isn't a bad thing lah. you add laughter to our lives haha but that's by making a fool of yourself =p really lah! you seriously like asking for it one.. the stuff you say just end up shooting urself only. and well i must also thank you for your existence lah. coz you're like our "common enemy" haha always kena teased by the rest of us one.. quite poor thing right =p without you around uh there will be one less thing to kachiao then our lives here won't be so fun anymore =p haha teasing you is quite addictive lorh. can you imagine even after like 7 months of being together you still can get suanned.. i think it's just you lah right =p

haha another reason why i think i feel like u're younger than me is that i somehow can't stop myself from worrying for you. academically-wise yah =p haha really lah 很多次一直担心豪俊没有好好读书 =p but you can't blame me lah. half the time you're either dota-ing or naruto-ing.. only like once in a very very long while then you'd start working very hard and chionging your lab reports and stuff but then you do that at like weird hours so you screw up your whole body clock and system.. you tell me how not to worry like that lah =p remember after you came back from singapore then we were all mugging together in your room haha you'd be lying on ur bed and like every 10 mins or smth you'd fall asleep =p hope ur mugging for the upcoming exams will go more smoothly lah k?

Darius! haha the one i knew the most before i came over. haha not only through moe but through sojourn as well yup. my fellow greenie =D one of the first few things i remember of you is that you wore a yellow shirt to the MOE gathering thing and that you could drive =p haha still remember how the night before my driving exam you wished me good luck online.. then after that when i died terribly and got 40 points you consoled me by telling me that you got 44 on your first try heh. basically i just remembered you as a rather nice guy and thankfully that hasn't changed haha. never really knew you were so lame and full of crap though! i just remember how at cafe cartel you were really into the plasticine and moulding of the future thing =p haha after that i kinda got to know you better through zhixian i guess? can't really remember haha just rmb that i went out with u zhixian and clarence once. all really nice people (in different ways) and all happen to be from vj also.. haha led me to wonder for awhile whether there's smth special that's attractive about vj guys =p

haha like i said earlier after i came over here my impression of you didn't really change. maybe it's coz i already knew you relatively well before i came over.. haha mr sentimental guy. yeah i kinda realised that you're very open about your feelings and relationships this kind of stuff.. especially after you let me sift through your handphone during sojourn to read those few smses =p found that quite surprising actually considering that i wasn't really -that- close to you yet haha. always nice to have you around though! you're like a big brother to me yah. well technically you sort of adopted me so yah you -are- my big brother heh. always asking if i'm ok and if i'm feeling alright is really nice yah thanks alot =) haha one thing that never fails to amaze me is your observation skills yah. you can really read people quite well lorh. sometimes when it involves me and i don't even realise it you can still sense it.. ultra-sensitive lah you =p which can be a good thing i guess but yah during other times it might just lead you to start thinking a lot =p

nothing much to say about darius actually. he is basically who he appears to be. maybe he's got some deep dark secret that no one knows (i'm sure everyone has =p) but haha from my interactions with him over the past many months he appears to be a really nice person and well i believe that he's really like that =) haha oh yah! it's also you who got me started on taiwanese drama serials and youtube lah =p haha next time stay same household sure even worse one.. but it's not -that- bad a habit lah as long as you know how to control and well i think i'm not that bad yet =p haha ok i'm just rambling on now this is getting nowhere.. but yup anyway to darius just stay the way you are lah k? maybe be a little less idealistic =p and try not to pon any more 9am lectures next time =p and oh yes 加油 with your lovelife too! -grin-

yay that's it! haha and i'm not done yet =p but basically yah that's khd the three guys i hang around with.. and who i'm really really happy to be with here in imperial =) haha do you all remember one of the first few photos i took of you all? the one eating ice cream haha. we all look so so different now lah. i should take another one just before we go back to compare. and anyway it makes more sense to eat icecream now in summer than back then during winter =p but then again.. i must say that khad is famous for being a rather crazy bunch of people. haha really. when it comes to doing funny stuff i think no one can beat us =p but i'm not complaining anyway! it's all these weird stuff we do that really make up many of the fond memories i have of my first year over here =)

31st oct 2006. halloween. haha just barely one month into imperial and the guys were already close enough to gang up to scare me =p though i didn't get scared (can't remember who it was that was so impatient so kept peeking up =p) but haha felt quite honoured lorh! that they actually bothered to go get mascara and powder and kengseng actually brought his speakers and stuff just to try scare me and the other girls haha. pity you all failed lah. i really doubt it but maybe you'd succeed next time lah k? =p

17th dec 2006. kboxing in kengseng's room. haha who would have thought we could do that over here in london =p it was haojun's crazy idea at first then he just started asking the other two guys to and they gave him a hell lot of songs but he managed to download all the mv's (with a few wrong ones like 红豆 =p) onto his laptop. it was like 30 plus songs lah is it? but anyway sadly it crashed after awhile =p but that didn't stop us haha we just kept going on through the night using ks' laptop singing random songs by random people. all chinese of course. haha it's really because of them that i've turned "cheena" lah. i've never listened to so much chinese songs or spoken so much chinese in my entire life. at first they kept laughing at me coz my spoken chinese sucked =p but i think now they used to it liao =p ohh and i just discovered smth lah. despite 50% (and maybe abit more) of khad being avid sunyanzi fans i realised i do not have a single one of her songs on my laptop haha. think i should start asking them for good songs soon =p

many many nights in 2006. playing cards talking through the night drinking bayleys and eating ben&jerry's in D1. haha we kinda stopped playing cards liao but when we first got together we used to do that quite often.. and tt's when we realise that haojun's card-playing skills errr can be improved on -grin- haha but it's really got a lot better since the easter trip! yupp and ben & jerry's haha our favourite dessert =p if it were 2 for 5 pounds all the time i think all of us would grow fat by the end of our time here lah =p so i should be thankful right haha. hmm we talked alot through the night also.. while drinking yah haha. remember our record was talking till like 6am is it? after everyone else left we somehow just stayed in kengseng's room and chatted about loads of stuff until the next morning.. haha k maybe it was more than just chat but through all those talks we really learnt quite alot about each other.. which was good of course.. mm really enjoyed those chats =)

8th feb 2007. haha the second time it snowed in london while we were here. at 4am i received a phone call from haojun telling me that it's snowing.. went out of my room after awhile then saw kengseng and haojun both there already dressed up and ready to go out. at 4am haha. managed to wake darius up and so the four of us just went out and watched it snow.. we hung around the road in front of darius' hall for quite some time just letting the snow fall on us and turning white haha. drew stuff in the snow also and started playing around too.. before we went back kengseng and haojun made a mini snowman which some people actually took photos of the next day =D it was damn stupid lah really. spending 1.5 hours out in the snow at like 4am in the morning.. really suaku lah but it was nice considering it was the first time four of us actually saw snow falling from the sky. haha the next morning we realised it was still snowing meaning we woke up at 4am for nothing but who cares haha it was a good and memorable experience =)

all the birthday celebrations in london. cake-baking! haha how did it start uh? jiaxuan's birthday right. dunno why just suddenly decided to bake a cake for him.. tt's kinda like the first "sign" i got that this bunch of guys i hang out with are nice people =) haha not trying to be ego but well just thinking that these guys are people like myself =) all teachers-to-be lah maybe that's why.. seee! don't hafta worry about your kids next time can put them safely in our hands coz we wun mistreat them =p haha remember it started with kengseng mixing up degree celsius and farenheit heh that after that we always tease him about it =p after jx we had weiming elaine cat and ade! all the cakes really looked damn nice lah. we always either talk cock or eat instant noodles while waiting for the cakes to bake or cool haha. fun =) oh yah and there was ks' cheesecake too haha really glad that his surprise went so well =) bet it's smth that he (as well as elaine's birthday surprise!) won't forget for awhile.. keep the ferrari safe hor!

watching movies. haha just recently D1 has become like a mini theatre lah. like every friday night 2330h got movie screening one heh. the very first movie we watched together was borat actually. but that was in a cinema.. and eh dun forget we still have our one more free movie k? guess we dun really have much time now with exams and stuff so maybe we'll hafta use it after sept or smth but whatever it is must use it k! mhmm. watched many other movies together actually. top gun (which i think me and haojun fell asleep halfway in darius' room =p) and there was love actually too. haha one of my all-time favourite movies.. ks only had that movie in his laptop so yah for like four months plus we didn't watch anything else.. then after we got stuff from cat and stephan we starting watching again heh. pursuit of happyness. stranger than fiction. happy feet! music & lyrics. and just an hour ago - night at the museum. haha most of the movies were not too bad =) except i realise sometimes i can barely hear anything coz i crunch very loudly when i eat thai sweet chilli =p haha next time go back to singapore must get more movies yah. sound of music! next time when sian of mugging can crash the guys' room to slack again =D really can't wait to get our house lah.. think it's gonna be quite fun living together =) breakfast prepared by haojun every morning right? -grin-

misunderstandings and arguments. haha some people wonder how come friends like that also can quarrel.. but i take these arguments as evidence of how close we are yah? it's not like we argue all the time anyway but there have been incidents - quite a number in fact - which either involved all of us or maybe just some members. haha these incidents got us all into bad moods awkward silences long emails tears (of 感动 and sadness =p) and many many other emotions. but really.. i think after all these bad stuff we all become stronger? as in our relationship as well as ourselves. we learn a lot from these yah. especially how to appreciate the people around you. maybe that's why i'm writing this entry and why i always give you guys notes and stuff.. to let you know (coz it's not really normal to tell ur friends directly =p) that you guys do mean quite a lot to me. haha so mushy -shudders- but after what happened in jc you guys are really the best thing i can wish for yah. haha one of the luckiest things to happen to me.. khd you guys really rock =)

26th mar - 5th apr 2007. easter trip to eastern europe! haha i can honestly say that this is probably one of the most memorable and fun trips i'll ever have during my studies here in london and possibly for the rest of my life =) even gabriel agrees! and he's been travelling alot for 3 years liao yah =p i think i've mentioned this a lot of times liao but you three are seriously seriously a damn fun and nice bunch of people to hang out with. with them around you'll really never get bored one.. be it their dirty jokes or endless teasing you'll forever be entertained haha. i know i've changed a bit liao and become a lot more quieter than i used to be in the past.. but yah with them i am still somewhat my usual 'chatty' self. or at least more than normal yahh haha and it's from this that i can tell i'm really comfortable with them.. i'm not as talkative and wun joke/tease as much if i'm not close to you yah. so to people who i actually bother to irritate you must feel honoured hor =p

ok oops i digressed. eastern europe trip to poland czech and austria. haha one word. FUN =) seriously. haha dunno why but out of all the places i kinda enjoyed poland the most.. not just for the cheap food lah =p maybe coz it was the beginning of the trip so we were all still rather full of energy.. what with the hunting for my peacocks and kengseng's dragon and the damn salty soup it was just fun. & zakopane was beautiful too =) haha oh and of course the corner hostel was a really nice place to chill out (and do other stuff -grin-) so maybe tt's why i liked that place so much.. after awhile we all got a bit tired yah but it was still fun anyway. playing cards & drinking & getting lost along the streets of vienna.. taking poser & stupid photos (i think uh if i count we have more photos of people than places lah =p) basically just wandering around.. haha i think some pple might think tt we kinda wasted the trip there actually coz we probably could have done and seen more (we were seriously damn relax =p) but i think it's really the company tt matters yah? & for my easter trip it was great =) haha got like over 300 photos (not forgetting the video!) to remind myself of this trip.. definitely won't forget and like darius said even if i see the video a million times i will still laugh every time i watch it heh =)

haha oh well i think that should be enough! so many many fond memories! not to mention all the dinners at OC or bayswater.. skipping and trying to control the kids at pimlico.. and all the emoticon-filled MSN conversations =p coz of you guys time kinda flew by quite fast for me over here in london.. just another 44 more days and we'll be back home =) dun forget our kbox appointment hor! and we must try meet up to eat and talk crap etc also -nods- haha i'm trying to finish this entry coz i wanna show it to you guys before your exams yup.. so to three of you all the best for the upcoming papers k? (yes i know i wished u all liao but no harm wishing again right =p) haha jiayou! i have faith that in the end all four of us will get our first class honours.. can one! so let's do it k? then when everything's over we can relax and start packing and look forward to our new house next year =) mhmm so here's to another two more years for khad too! come to think of it we really haven't changed much.. quite amazing how our wavelengths are so similar (in a bad way =p) haha from teasing me about organic bananas to doing obscene stuff with soft toys =p it's been a fun first year at imperial yah? i'm sure the next two will be the same too.. haha so anyway to end it off i'm gonna put here the first (and only) video i uploaded onto youtube.. haha it'll prob be the only video i ever embed in my entries anyway =p

haha so yup this will remind myself of how crazy you guys are and how i'd always have fun with you all around heh. i think uh whenever i'm feeling down i see this video only confirm (guaranteed plus chop =p) cheer up one haha. alright i think that this should be the end of my very very very very long post liao.. (i think it's a record-breaker lah =p) i've only dedicated entries to one other person before and she's quite important to me so you guys better feel honoured =p anyway just wanna say one last time that i really really appreciate everything you guys have done during my time here (k maybe to you all it seems like u all did nothing at all but to me it's a lot of stuff =p) yup. take care and study hard k? shouldn't carry on or i'll become very mushy =p so mhmm khad forever! haha yay =)
