the kid in me.

hello! suddenly feel like blogging. haha guess it's just that i don't wanna go to bed yet =p had a somewhat productive afternoon today! i think. kinda thoroughly finished pericyclic & heteroaromatic. seems pretty ok i think. i've completed mugging organic chem liao and i think it's not -that- bad. though half the paper is new syllabus but hmm shouldn't be a problem i hope. kinda done with inorg too. so i'm just gonna try start (and i seriously mean START since i never attended many lectures =p) on physical chem tomorrow.. will concentrate on lab report on wed-fri, slack abit over weekends then next monday it will be full-blown astee-mugger-mode!

can't believe i'm going back so soon. haha i spent two hours on skype on sunday discussing my birthday with my mum lah.. i think she's really quite excited about it =p haha but i was just thinking of the cost and it's like quite ouch. come to think of it i'd probably end up paying for my own birthday party =p but oh well you only turn 21 once! i wonder what's the big deal actually but since everyone celebrates (my older cousins all celebrated theirs too) so i'd just celebrate as well. just hope that things will go fine on that day itself =p

the closer i get to exams the more distractions i find and the more slack i feel.. is that normal? =p haha ohoh before i start let me just say smth! -points to photo on right- haha weee that's for all the harry potter fans out there =D darius kengseng and clarice went to paris on saturday by train so they went to king's cross station and i decided to tag along! more to see platform 9.75 (ok that's a damn geek way of putting it =p) than to send them off though oops =D i was like more excited than them lah. managed to find it! it's not between platform 9 and 10 though =p it's like just some random wall in the station.. got so many pple taking photos and this couple was like so excited quite amusing.

so yes anyway i shall continue. haha i recently got hooked onto spacehog and theme hospital again =p while i was playing theme hospital i realised how old that game is lah. i started playing it when it first came out and that was 1997 (primary 4!). and now's 2008 so that's like 11 years. been playing it since i was a kid and now i can still get quite addicted to it =p remember it was yeatian who introduced it to us back then.. haha we were doing a group project at her house and yah after awhile we just watched her play =p till now bloaty head's probably my favourite disease haha maybe coz that was the one that first fascinated me last time =p but playing now and playing back then's quite different. 11 years and i never got past stage 5 i think =p and now i'm at stage 7 haha. realised that i was too much of a chiong-ster last time.. so i read strategy guides and stuff and realised how to play it properly =p it gets quite simple to get promoted after awhile.. trying to abstain from it now! will only play once on thursday =p

and spacehog! haha the game that will always remind me of kahoo. and it's also the game that brought me thru my O levels back in RGS =p remember during some of the breaks in between the papers me and kahoo would go to shaw lab to study and when we get sian we would start playing haha. was quite rusty when i restarted but kinda picked up again liao =p the two player game is still more fun lorh. remember screaming alot heh. i'm not so good at two player anymore.. (eh actually i think it's not me. someone keeps getting itchy and dying =p) we played like dunno how many million times and FINALLY finished the normal mode. if we try tough, hard, insane sure die one =p

haha and another thing i'm hooked on is disney! i've stopped watching for now but i've downloaded quite alot of the movies and been watching a few of them =p finished the ones you see below heh. burnt quite a few of them into dvd so i'm gonna bring home for my little sister to watch =D come to think of it i don't think the younger generation now knows much about disney cartoons right? ohh and i sooo love their songs lah. i'm currently addicted to their songs. everyday must listen one. "under the sea.. under the sea.." it's so sad they don't make such nice classics anymore.. and i really feel like watching disney musicals coz the songs are so nice i'm sure they would make good musicals BUT i think i will be severely disappointed coz it won't be as good as the cartoon.. lion king was ok but the atmosphere just wasn't there and doesn't help that singers were quite lousy =p "hakuna matata.. what a wonderful phrase.."

haha oh well looks like i'd never grow up heh. but watching these stuff really makes you feel young again.. and so what if they are cartoons! they are good stuff k. i started getting hooked coz of haojun when i saw him watching aladdin =p and now clarice and olivia wanna get some of them from me too haha. i think disney classics are just smth you will never get sick of.. like what jiaxuan says, "eh disney songs are damn zai one lorh". mhmm they make me happy! =D "can you feeel the love tonight.."

alrighty it's time me go to bed. another long day tomorrow! my days will probably become abit routine now =p wake up go wetherby cook lunch eat study eat dinner bathe come home slack sleep repeat =p haha gonna try bake an apple crumble tomorrow! keep eating at their place abit paiseh so shall bring dessert for the boys. i really hope it doesn't fail though =p take care everyone! and i'd see you all back in singapore in like 3.5 weeks? yay =D
