mamma mia! here i go again..

and so he's gone. really pity his parents yah. can only see him like after 21 months. that's a damn long time.. your mum will really miss you one lorh. see how eager she was to take photos just now =p and ehh i dunno what your dad thinks lah but somehow i got a feeling it seems like it's a very wrong time for you to leave now =p haha oh well. at least i'm lucky i'd still see him at least for the next 9 months =p

i'm going back to london again! this is my 3rd time already yah. abit jaded i guess. oh i was talking to my MOE junior (fresher) the other time and yah it was like a small confusion =p

me: so when are you going back?
him: eh going back as in coming back?
me: huh nono when's your flight?
him: you mean my flight back to singapore next summer?
me: ehh nono i mean when are you flying to london?
him: ohhhh. you said going back so i thought back as in back home here..

haha it's guess it's quite obvious you're a senior coz only seniors will say going BACK =p i didn't realise haha coz i say it quite naturally =p it's funny lah. when you're here back will be london and when you're in london back will be here. if that makes sense haha. oh well! so gonna miss london.

anyway i had quite a meaningful summer i must say. at least i did do quite abit of stuff. all the touristy things like zoo, bird park, night safari & chinese garden. quite happy i got to meet quite a number of pple too. the S01C guys who came down for my birthday.. colin who i met up quite a few times for dinner (and room-cleaning =p) geog group twice and chatted quite alot. even zebras we managed to squeeze in a last minute meeting. even met my household yup for muthu's curry & captain's ball haha. well yah then every other day would be with my family or you-know-who =p

mm just some last thoughts before i go back for my final year i guess. i hope i've been a nicer daughter this year =p i didn't know mum had so many complaints about me last year haha only found out when i was back in london when i read smth she wrote =p didn't really interact much with both my sisters as usual hmm wonder if i should really work on that. but it's really quite hard yah when we've all got our own lives and are involved in totally different stuff oh well.

smth else about this year though. i think i spent waaaay too much money. i dunno why but my savings seem to be abit stagnant. considering that i gave tuition & worked at HQ for a month i thought at least it'll be a positive increase since the time i came back. oh well =p i think most of it is transport yah. coz i see my bank book and it's like i see TLG - $20.00 every other day. i think i spend like about $120 a month on transport alone lah. very bad i really must cut down. at least i wun hafta travel so much or so far next year =p

oh yes smth i always wanted to talk about. the path from tpy to my home is really quite dangerous haha. it's narrow (cannot two pple walk side-by-side) with a canal on one side and a school fence on the other side. and it's not exactly -that- well lit at night. but the dangerous part about it are the eeeky creatures. i had quite a horrible journey home once quite long ago. shall try to recount it.

was walking along the path to my home then i realised got sticky stuff on my hand ie i accidentally brushed against a spider web -shudders- just kept walking then in front of me i saw this lump on the path which i thought was just another leaf or smth. when i walked closer then i realised it was a toad. right smack in the middle of the path lah! i squeezed along its side. lucky it didn't move =p and yah once in awhile u will see cockroaches (both dead & alive) or snails (both crawling & crushed). then when i was reaching the end liao suddenly this rat just dashed across my path lah. it was quite small but still. i dun remember if i screamed but i definitely almost got a heart attack =p as i saw it wriggle into this hole under the fence i shuddered as i thought about how many million rats there must be in there =p

haha so grosssss. and the thing is i cannot avoid the path no matter what =p coz the way around the school is damn long. so i just try to walk as fast as i can but still keeping an eye out for creatures. i don't want to go home with snail shells or toad juice on the soles of my shoes =p -shudders- i guess it's good that next year i won't be using that path as often anymore =p

ok enough rambling haha. this email was meant to say goodbye to everyone.. and to those who i met up during summer thanks for making my summer memorable! =) i'd see you all again in 9 months yup. studying overseas has taught me to treasure the friendships i made i guess. since it's like only within that 3 months that i can meet up with them.. mm will miss everyone! take care k?
