random things about astee

haha my friend found the above comic and showed it to me.. he said it reminded him of someone.. and yup the someone was me =p i was quite amused when i read it coz it was rather accurate. or at least the age 25 was also the age i picked when i was young =p i remember once telling kenneth (and many many other people) that i wanted to be married at 25, first kid at 27, second kid at 29 and then settle down and live happily ever after. and that was in sec three i think. and yah like what the girl in the comic said it seemed really possible at that time. but oh well! the closer i get to 25 the more i realise it's highly impossible =p

dunno why i decided on the age 25 but it seemed just nice i guess. and i was rather against having kids after 30 last time.. and well honestly speaking i still am now =p haha read somewhere before that a girl's most fertile period is between age 23-26 or smth like that. that's like so freaking young =p but if u look around singaporeans now i think it's really quite hard to find working mothers under 30. guess i still gotta wait awhile more before i can have my happy family =p i think it's just all the reading & hearing about how mothers over 30 will get alot of complications during pregnancy/labour that freak me out.. tt's why i wanna have kids early =p but ehh considering i only start work at 23 i dun see how it's possible for me to earn enough $$ to actually get a house/car start a family etc in like 4 years? so sad how reality just smashes ur dreams sometimes =p

i dunno when it started.. j1 i think? but since then i've always wondered how much ink you actually use up during exams. i think it's probably the 3-hour math & fmath papers that got me wondering =p haha so i actually decided to find out by labelling my pen before & after every exam paper =p pity i lost the A Level pen though. it looked quite cool with like 10 over stripes on it =p i think my conclusion was like math papers use the most ink followed by chem & physics paper 3 =p haha so wuliao.

anyway the pen above was from my jan exams this year. organic/physical/inorganic. quite predictable =p the huge gap was coz i just used that pen for normal day activities so yah the ink just went down. haha i'd be labelling them again for my upcoming exams! (that's like what i do when i sit down at the exam table before the paper starts.. i wonder if anyone actually notices & wonder what i'm doing =p) quite amused at myself actually but it's just a silly habit that stuck i guess. and it still fascinates me how the pen ink level can go down so fast. and this is my favourite pen anyway! haha uni laknock. i've been using it for every single exam since the day i could use pens.. ie primary 4. that's like 11 years already and still faithful =D

i was googling my name the other day and yup i recently discovered that there's a place called astee! it's quite amusing the stuff that turn up on google. "We provide weather, weather forecast and holiday weather for Astee", "Satellite images of Astee", "Apply online for jobs in Astee" haha so honoured got my name everywhere =D and this place isn't on wikipedia (or lonely planet for that matter) so i'm just guessing that it's either a damn ulu place (which i refuse to believe) or it's just some newly-founded city/town. which means that it's probably younger than me and i can proudly say that it was named after me yay =D hahah ok random. but quite cool isn't it! i wanna go there lorh. then for once i can find like magnets/keychains with my name on it heh. pity it's like quite far away from the other irish cities (actually 3 hours only lorh. can make a day trip up there or smth.. pleeeeeease? =p) haha oh well we'll see. maybe one day i'd really visit astee!
