as stubborn as an astee

it's been like one week since i'm back in singapore liao. haha time kinda really flies.. guess my cousin's right when he says that when you're back home during breaks, before you know it you'll be back in a foreign country studying again.. haha he's got more experience than me anyway so yeah he'd know =p mm the past few days i went out quite a bit & got quite a bit of stuff done.. just as well since when my attachment starts i will really have NO MORE time.. just got the schedule in my email & it's like 7.10am-5pm almost every single day of my attachment lah. three weeks leh. even relief teaching wasn't so tiring. haiii =p

haha mm had steamboat for dinner last saturday with my relatives. my godfather's treat.. then some more he say he's gonna treat me another time to crabs maybe in two weeks' time or smth. haha really lah i get pampered too much =p like my other relatives say i should come back more often so i'd get more free welcome-home dinners (and probably farewell angbaos as well) =p heh then at sunday 2am we went to airport budget terminal to pick up my cousin from australia yup. all the little cousins.. 2.30am leh and all still so hyperactive =p haha the budget terminal is seriously small lah. but it's only like one airline (tiger airways) so yah not surprising i guess. very very small place.. and when i hear my cousin complaining about budget flight after that haha guess it wasn't much of a surprise to me coz i took it before many times =p when my mum heard got no food on board she was like "aiyohhh sure a not? so poor thing how can like that one!" =p

mhmm met colin chester and jinghui on sunday uhhuh. decided to pop by (ok not pop by since it's so far away =p) jinghui's place after colin's tuition session to wish my ex-tutee good luck for her exams haha. come to think of it uh.. colin you ought to have treated me to lunch that day lorh. i gave you such a good tuition lobang let you earn money and you never thanked me for it yet =p haha chester kept bugging colin to go home & dota with him so yah in the end asked chester out instead and we had pasta (ehh i was nice enough not to complain lah) at tampines mall.. haha then sat in mac's after that to chat for awhile more. haha & well when i left them at around 4plus i got quite a nice surprise in the evening.. though i predicted it it was still awfully awfully sweet. haha i dun think i'd ever forget it yah? especially since i got a feeling that that will probably be my only time behind the wheel these 3 months =p thanks alot =)

haha monday dinner with damian and justin at vivocity. ate at marche.. thanks justin for the treat =D haha it was really quite strange company but it was still fun i guess. pretty enjoyable.. half the time it was me and justin teasing and suanning damian heh. two chemists versus a doctor.. what do you expect =D it was nice to meet justin again yeah.. haha someone who loves organic chem as much as me mhmm. and he's awfully stingy and calculative too heh. he really loves to mingle around with people from all over the world lah. think he'd enjoy himself over at princeton later this year uhhuh. maybe i'll be seeing him around either in US or UK.. or maybe one of these days i'd drag friends with me to taiwan then he can bring us around too =D haha we bought a tub of icecream from the supermarket and "stole" spoons from the food court haha then ate at the top floor of vivocity yup. i dun think that was what damian had in mind when we said "let's have dessert" haha but u must admit it was fun what. me prefer to do stuff like that too.. get more with less money =p

tuesday i met cat to get back my contact lens from her yup. and went to acer as well to check whether or not i had to exchange my laptop batteries.. coz apparently got some batteries got problems so yah there's a free replacement programme thing. in the end didn't have to yeah.. but thanks for the company & saving me the time too! i wish i had my own car and the confidence to drive around myself also lah. then doing stuff will be so convenient.. but then again being pampered isn't that good a thing haha. now i think about going to whitley sec every morning myself i can cry liao =p

got my hair cut! and renewed my passport already too! so it was a pretty productive day today haha. my hair is back to the really short one though. ok not -really- short like it was before but it's still short.. so i don't look so "feminine" anymore sadly =p but aiyah it'll grow lah. so unfair lorh. some people with short hair can still look nice and pretty.. but once my hair's short i'd look like a guy =p but my mum's been nagging at me to cut my hair anyway and yeah i couldn't stand it getting in my way when i brush teeth & eat also =p keep getting toothpaste or soup on the ends of my hair lah =p oh well khd will be the first to see my new hair haha let's see what they have to say =p

yupp so tt's about it! oh yah was spposed to cook today too but in the end got like food that i think my dad's friend gave him or smth. so didn't have to cook liao.. so maybe i'd do it tmr instead! since i have nothing on tmr anyway.. friday meeting khd for lunch at maxwell yup. until now i haven't eaten my crabs and hokkien mee lah hopefully i'd get to eat more stuff on fri. but ehh i think i really should watch my weight. can't fit into a lot of my old stuff grr. contemplating walking the long way to whitley for the next 3 weeks as an alternative to exercising (ok it's just to make myself feel better =p) uhhuh but the thought of it can turn me off liao =p oh well shall see! must enjoy the rest of this week coz i think it's gonna be hell the next 3 weeks.. my project entitled "Motivational Programme for Secondary Students" is sooo unappealing lah. ahh damn sian damn sian.

ok enough whining haha. going out for dinner this saturday again.. my mum's treating this time coz she struck 4D last saturday haha. and from what i heard she just struck again today =p really damn lucky this year lah she. it's been 6 months only and that was her 11th time liao.. i was telling my aunt maybe coz i not around that's why she so lucky but then haha the moment i came back she struck her biggest one heh so i guess i'm wrong =p hope to see people soon! i've still got quite a long queue of people waiting to meet up with me (heh make myself sound like some big shot) uhhuh so i guess over the weekends i'd try and arrange my schedule to fit people in.. but i'd be around for three months don't worry got enough time to see everyone =D kk take care people!
