it's 11.25pm now. just watched finished the police academy show.. turned on my laptop to go online just to blog. it's been awhile yeah so thought i should give a few updates. so anyway yup the past 3 weeks have been with MOE Schools Division North. pretty interesting i must say heh. it's quite interesting to think about how all the supt's (superintendents) were once principals and teachers.. some of them are just so childish haha. anw haven't had much interaction with them coz they're always out of office. but i've had great company in the form of SAPO's yup. special assistance project officers otherwise known as claypots =p

ming. she's chinese but not chinese. haha her name's like antoinette ming smth. an indian surname i think. but she speaks chinese mhmm. very friendly and likes to talk a lot =)
evelyn. ex-DM! cannot tell lah. she looks so tame and friendly. haha really cannot imagine that her students were damn scared of her last time. that's why they say that teachers in and out of the classroom are really really different. she's the most mature of the lot i guess.
debbie. speaks very fluent chinese! has a nice handphone ring tone heh coz i sat next to her for awhile and she was quite busy tt time =p she was the first one to call us 'xiao mei mei' also. has very young parents and married to a salesman. 'steals' car from her husband quite often too heh.
david. otherwise known as uncle goh. haha the only male SAPO in the division. didn't get to interact with him much coz he was on reservist but can tell that he's quite a pessimistic negative guy =p has dogs at home and looking for a maid to look after his mum =p
belinda. loves travelling and doesn't like children. haha she's the oldest of the lot i think but she still looks really young. married with no kids and from the looks of it i doubt she'd ever have kids =p met husband in the same school while teaching. in fact i think ming and david's other halves are in the teaching force as well. in-breeding =p
winnie. otherwise known as poohbear! took me and keting a long time to figure out why she has 9 pooh soft toys in her car =p she's our babysitter yup the one who's mainly in charge of looking after us. psc scholar! going to harvard to do her masters next year. really really nice =) and the only unmarried one of the lot heh.

and so that's it! MOE uses so many acronyms it really gives me a headache =p they even call their own bosses by alphabets. like DDSN, DGE, DTD etc. wah i hear also i get lost totally. then all their schemes COE PSE NS EPDL and dunno what else it's just too hard to remember =p i guess after awhile you'd get used to it. but anyway me and keting (oh yah forgot to introduce her. my partner in procrastination and growing fat =D year 1 MOE chem in cambridge! fellow gep and RG RJ too!) have been enjoying everything a lot with all the school tours and stuff the past few weeks but this week is like a torture for us coz our paper is due and we both don't like writing papers. i hate admin work gah =p

so anyway yup i think enough about MOE. my paper is smth about the centres of excellence and their impact on N4 cluster schools. if that makes any sense to anyone =p but overall i enjoyed the school visits and events most actually. primary schools really changed alot lah! primary one kids learn the keyboard (no more recorders!) and how to bake cookies and make milo. at the age of 7 can you believe it. and their schools are so much bigger and nicer and more colourful. so lucky =p

mm had teachers' day off at work so had a long weekend yay. kinda burnt totally though. saturday tuition. sunday zoo & night safari. then monday tuition. haha enjoyed myself on sunday though =) was out from like 9am-11pm. long tiring day! and i spent like $70 ouch. so now must start saving up coz there's still so many places i wanna go before i go back to london. (and must sponsor someone's camera/desktop also =p) dunno why i'm suddenly in a singapore touristy mood.. guess it was just carried forward from last year when i always wanted to visit attractions but nv found the time too.. hopefully this year will be better! sunday night was also family bonding time haha it's been awhile since my whole family went out somewhere together.. and first time it was 5+1 some more. wasn't too bad right =p

hmm onto smth random. last night i suddenly realised smth that i've missed for awhile. long telephone chats. haha remember i used to sneak into sister's room when everyone's asleep to use the phone and talk to friends till like 3am in the morning. heh the time 3am also began to bear a special meaning for some of us =p i haven't done that in a very very long time i realised. but with MSN, facebook, skype etc i guess there's just no need to talk on the phone anymore.. just that in my opinion nothing can beat hearing someone when u're not together i guess. it's only when both parties are on the phone then you can get 100% (or almost) attention. even skype has its distractions =p

haha it's like me and public transport yah. even though eventually people will get cars and start driving around i still think that being able to take public transport with friends or someone you love is one of the nicest experiences. maybe it's just me haha. but when one person is driving he/she has to concentrate on the road so it's not totally possible to engage in a proper conversation. oh and i absolutely believe in pillow talk! which some people don't sadly. hmm i guess it doesn't have to be just before you go to bed (i think very few couples actually stay up to chat before they sleep =p) but i don't understand how people can don't talk to each other one. well i dunno if that happens actually but whatever it is i just hope it doesn't happen to me.. coz i'd really be damn sad if my husband doesn't bother to at least spend some time giving me 100% of his attention every night. that's why i need a husband who really thinks i'm important and not just watch soccer or read newspapers everyday haha =p oh well.

rarrr dunno why emo-ing suddenly. maybe it's coz of the sitting in the rain & wind for almost one hour just now. unhappy thoughts just tend to flow when you're feeling cold lonely and miserable =p mm i'm going to bed already anyway. tmr another long day probably giving tuition at night again coz A level prelims are coming.. going back to london in less than a month so fast. final year already haii. and when i think about whether to do my masters in switzerland i get really unhappy coz of that 9 months. i'm very scared you know. either way it's gonna happen haha so i just need to mentally prepare myself but i really dunno how.. haha oh well maybe one day i'd just realise that i'm worrying for nothing =)

and oh as for the title haha it was a creation of my little sis. we're currently both into the 'Unwritten' song played during the pantene shampoo advertisement =p and well i wrote part of the lyrics down for her and told her to fill in the blanks. but instead of 'release your inhibitions' she wrote 'let out your innovations' which i found super cute =) okie good night everyone.
